Talks & other events

We have a menu of Talks, Walks and Performances by experienced and knowledgeable speakers which we can bring to your local society or club. Some relate directly to Dragon Hall, such as the story of the Dragon Hall site from Saxon times to the present, or the life of Robert Toppes, the builder and owner of Dragon Hall.

We also have a King Street walk and 'King Street in Khaki' about local residents who served in WW1. Others are of a more general nature, such as 'The Wise Women' about medieval medicine.

We also offer a performance of our Mummers' play, 'St George and the Dragon' which we have performed at various venues and regularly at Christmas at Strangers Hall. With or without the play we also offer an illustrated talk about Mummers and Mollies generally.

For full details and prices see our brochure. To book a talk, walk, performance or demonstration please download our Booking Form (492Kb).
